Dr. Gloria Kardong graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology. She then graduated with a Ph.D. from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed a three-year residency with the University of Wyoming Family Practice Residency program in Casper, Wyoming.
She is the owner and CEO of Avoda Family Medical Clinic in Marion county, which was founded in 2010.
Jeff Powell grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming. Jeff was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 12-years-old and the experience of living with diabetes greatly influenced him to pursue a career in the medical field.
He attended the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics. He attended Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and has a Master of Medical Science degree in physician assistant studies. Jeff is nationally certified by the NCCPA and is licensed to practice medicine in Oregon.
Jeff and his family have lived in Salem since 2008. Jeff and his wife, Natalie, are parents of four children. Jeff's hobbies are hiking, fishing, camping and backpacking in the Wind River Range of Wyoming. He loves to watch and follow the Liverpool Football Club.
Ron Pedersen has always valued the importance of making healthy choices and the reward that comes with helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle.
Ron completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion at the University of Wyoming. He then attended the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences.
Ron is married with three children and a dog. He has lived in Salem for six years and loves the friendly community which offers a great venue for many outdoor activities. He enjoys spending time with family, camping, hiking, biking and disc golf.
